Twitter Action: Help Indigenous Women in Ecuador Meet with the President! - Amazon Watch: On International Women's Day, hundreds of indigenous women took to the streets of Puyo to defend their homes, families, and cultures. Since Monday, they have been occupying the Plaza Grande in Quito, where they traveled to meet with President Lenin Moreno to present their demands to keep the Amazon free of oil and mining activities.
